⏩ How do I upload educators?
When it comes to getting started, it’s important to get at least a handful of educators uploaded into your dashboard. Educators are never alerted when you upload them, add interactions or start coaching cycles. Educators are only alerted when you choose to alert them – these options are always clearly indicated.
To get started, go to Educators > Add Educator
You then have the choice of manually creating an educator or uploading via a spreadsheet. For spreadsheet uploads, we have a template ready for you in Google Sheets here. We highly recommend uploading with a spreadsheet to save time if you or your school’s secretary can pull that information!
✉️ Do educators receive alerts or accounts?
Educators are never alerted when you upload them to your database. The only way an educator is contacted is if you choose to share an interaction with them:
🏷️ Setting up Interaction Types vs Tags. What’s the difference?
Interaction Types: these are your high level meeting types. Try not to get too granular with these. Some ideas include:
Tags: this is where you get granular. Use tags to track what you’re doing in the meeting. First, create a folder then add tags under your folder. Here are some ideas:

Be sure your school year dates are correct under Settings > Site.
📝 Tasks as your To-Do manager
It isn’t uncommon to leave a meeting with a list of to-do items. Tasks allow you to keep track of following up with a teacher after a meeting.
